Summer 2007

    People who provide activities for children over the summer months in Ordsall got together recently to co-ordinate plans.

    Here's the results of their deliberations. Hope this is helpful.

    Boys open age football team – training every Thursday 7pm play Sundays.


    Mixed Under 11’s football team – train every Tuesday 6pm.


    Girls15+ football team – training every times and dates to be confirmed.



    Volunteers wanted to train girls football team and coach Under 18’s and drive the mini bus. Training offered.

    It's really great that people have co-operated this year.
    In the past it's been a case of every group doing their own thing.

    That's no good for the children. They end up with lots of choice one day, nothing the next.
    It looks like 2007 marks the start of a new spirit of co-operation and working together.

    This is precisely what Ordsall Trust can do, and what it's there for.
